asp.net - What is the implication of installing Kentico in the root of IIS -

i have kentico web site installed on root of iis website, not planning have multiple sites 1 wanted know implication of installing kentico way forgoing , getting. using kentico 7 way.

i looked on kentico 7 documentation there no explanation of differences are.

you can see online document here: local iis server

see below image of web installer root installation check-box.

image of web installer root installation checkbox

each site hash own base (root) virtual directory. every other virtual directory created under site becomes part of url naming space of site (but can map on whatever physical location want). in production environment want application "to own site". don't want behave sub-application or take care of web.config inheritance...

for more info strongly recommend sections "virtual directories" , "sites" in this great article.

should have other questions regarding installation don't hesitate contact me directly.
