css - Why are "Lime" and "LimeGreen" different colours in HTML? -

why both "lime" , "limegreen" exist available colours in html/css? "limegreen" darker colour (#32cd32), more evocative of actual lime, whereas "lime" name #00ff00, extreme green available.

is there historical reason this?

they come rgb.txt file in x11. seems pretty hard track down put entries limegreen , lime in file.
