Should I start using boost as a C++ Beginner? -


i have been learning c++ thinking in c++- bruce eckel , have take so's clear of doubts . of late, have been going through stuffs dealing smart pointers, postfix , prefic overloading , overloading other operators -> , ->* seemed hard nut me hold of. thus, while going through question dynamics of overloading ->* operator , came know lot smart pointers , new library called boost. now, feasible , constructive me start using library when getting hold of c++ knowledge because provides lot of different things shared_pointers etc aren't directly available in c++ standard libraries apart many other optimizations , functions or should stick stick basics of eckel , later go looking boost. know more boost library (the things , bad things involved in using it). in advance
