triangulation - 3d reconstruction from 2 views -
i'm doing study on 3d reconstruction 2 views , fixed known camera focal length. unclear me triangulation gives real world scale of object or scale of result different actual one? if scale different actual size, how can find depth of points it? wondering if there more information need create real world scale of object.
scale arbitrary in sfm tasks result may different in every reconstruction since points projected on random depth value.
you need @ least 1 known distance in scene recover absolute (real-world) scale. can include 1 object known size in scene able convert scale afterwards.
