graph - Plotting time on X axis in excel -


i have done 24 hour measurement , results obtain contains around 1400 entries. want plot results in such way

  • that x axis represent time , y axis corresponding value.
  • my x axis should divided 24 sections each representing 1 hour.
  • my exact start time 14:00 , end time next day 14:00.

if time values go across midnight, need add date part time value, can plotted correctly before , after midnight. @ least, time values first day should have 0 before decimal, e.g. 0.875 9 pm, , values after midnight should have 1 before decimal, e.g. 1.125 1 am, falls on next day , not same day 9pm value.

then plot xy scatter chart.

work out excel's internal number (date/time value showing in general format) desired x axis minimum, maximum , major/minor increments , format x axis accordingly. set number format hh:mm

edit: example: want minimum x axis value 24-dec-2015 11 pm. write cell date/time. format cell general. use number see in format dialog x axis minimum.

if want major unit 1 hour, write time value 1:00 cell , format general. use number in dialog major.

format x axis labels show time values, not dates.

ruby on rails - Seeing duplicate requests handled with Unicorn -

recently upgraded our ec2 instances c3.large in order boost more unicorn workers handle increased traffic our site. (6xworkers per machine - 2 ec2 instances). when did this, started seeing duplicate records being created! looks somehow, maybe 2 unicorn workers attempting process same request? in nginx logs see 1 [post] request particular rails controller - yet 2 records being created in database. i'm hitting kind of race condition issue - have no idea how debug this. doesn't happen time, when it's frustrating well. noticed 2 database records within 5 seconds of each other.
