android - How to make phonegap app, 'don't use' full screen -

i'm creating phonegap app in order learn.

this code far:

<!doctype html>  <html>     <head>         <meta charset="utf-8" />         <meta name="format-detection" content="telephone=no" />         <meta name="msapplication-tap-highlight" content="no" />          <meta name="viewport" content="user-scalable=no, initial-scale=1, maximum-scale=1, minimum-scale=1, width=device-width, height=device-height, target-densitydpi=device-dpi" />         <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/index.css" />         <title>el especialista</title>     </head>     <body>         <div class="branca">             <header>                 <img src="img/logo.png" />              </header>         </div>         <script type="text/javascript" src="cordova.js"></script>         <script type="text/javascript" src="js/index.js"></script>         <script type="text/javascript">             app.initialize();         </script>     </body> </html>

when update phonegap app on iphone, header starts on top, under notification bar (i mean, notification bar on app, covering part of application)

check image @ bottom understand better.

how can solve that? mean, know can add padding or margin top, app start after notification bar, in android or other devices screen different, , wont work.

there kind of configuration, making app after notification bar in iphone , android?

enter image description here

in config.xml can put preference fullscreen this:

<preference name="fullscreen" value="false" />

you can find documentation here:

http://docs.build.phonegap.com/en_us/2.9.0/configuring_preferences.md.html
